------------
Performers were given suggestions for concepts to be painted on 6 panels throughout a 6 act performance. Each act and image decided by chance (dice rolls).

While working with Tulane Sculpture students, they revealed a list of concerns about art and their education. We decided to create a piece of art that would speak directly about their concerns, while empowering them with a unique form of expression. During the planning we received news that Alan Kaprow had died. We had the agent provocateur needed to finalize our performance.

Clear panels were erected on the stage. Suggestions were made about images participants would paint. These were abstract ideas that were completely non-visual in nature. The images produced w ould be afterimages of the activities that occurred during the 6 acts. Directives were also posted on hyperfluxus.com inviting internet audience members to perform their own acts anywhere. The audience in the theater received directives on small cards as they entered the theater. They were invited to join the performance as they wished.

The residual occurrence will be monitored.
